You may recall my recent sighting of a UF fan here in town. I pass this newspaper vendor every morning on my way to work. I chuckle at his hat, we exchange congenial nods (to the side, of course; people here don't nod up and down) and I go on my way.
This hat has become, as Lewis Carroll's Alice would say, "curiouser and curiouser." What you are about to witness is the result of weeks of attempts at subtle "I'm just listening to music en route to work" iPhone camera reconnaissance.
Notre Dame? Really? At first glance I thought the heat was beginning to get to me. Sure enough, though, the pictures don't lie. I know plenty sports fans who would be mighty upset to see these schools sharing a hat. Nike doesn't even sponsor Notre Dame!
At least the SEC got first billing.
